I agree. I keep an amateur running total on announced lay-offs and plant closings. This past 3 quarters have been exceptionally ugly. Literally hundreds of thousands of jobs have been announced in the tech sector. Most are high pay jobs. This is the stuff that slowly throttles the Cherokee sales.

bonnie, and layoffs are accelerating. it wa reported that a company i'm closely associated with will be reducing 700+ (i think more, maybe 3 times the figure including my company) pretty soon. next week s/b eventful...

this economy is incredibly stressed...
