This is clearly a hyped up company. I clicked on the url activeworlds.com, checked the advertisers, there is none. How will this company make any money? There are some free softwares to download, that's about all. There is no content at the web site, nothing that will entice you to visit the site everyday. For free web page and chat, there are countless of other sites that offer the same thing for free, Yahoo with its new acquired Geocities being one. So what advantage does this company have? Answer the following questions honestly. Would you visit this site every day? Is there anything there to attract you? If your answer is NO, then don't expect other people to visit, and so no company will spend any money advertising there. If you have a small business, would you spend money to advertise at that site?
