<offtopic> G'day Ed - 1st, welcome aboard on all counts. There is nothing foolish about asking questions - and be cautious. It seems that you are even headed [cf retirement acct. etc.] so you probably will do ok There are many decent and smart people on SI [well, I may be decent for most measures - but then again, my friends keep calling out of control, so maybe not - but definitely I am not so smart <vbg>] so keep exploring.
