I meant to say countries << Naw, ya had it right the first time - I grew up in the Canal Zone and it was pretty clear that most Banana Republics are wholly owned by about 10 families which own the major farms, companies and banks (and most of the politicians). Then, a small diversification and some expansion occurs when the Noriega's and Escobar's create a new "dry cleaning market"! :-) "Lo mismo esta lo mismo, hombre"! ...and they store it all in Telluride and Arkansas, while Monica creates the required distractions! "Pardon my chrome-plated, no-see-um, dark glasses..", sez: the slimy, liberal, Atlanta-based, media mogul - while he fondles his aging Hanoi honey!
