I just got a flyer in my Ameritech bill for my business phone and it says I can get an ISDN line for $42.oo with an (*). (Not available in all areas and prices may vary from area to area).

This is the first I've seen of the offer. At that rate it'll be another 20 years before I can get into this hifangled xdsl stuff. HA!

Either the RBOCs buy fast or the CLECs will cherry pick their copper-
I have confidence that there will be a huge market in xDSL. The only question is timing. The RBOCs can start buying bigtime or the CLECs will continue to chew away at their copper base or will build their own infrastructure to high density locations such as a building campus or apartment complex. The cat is out of the bag. The 1986 comm act has created a Frankenstein for the RBOCs and GTEs of the world. In any case, I see demand exceeding supply. It's a great opportunity to seize marketshare. LU, NT, etc will be there but there will be lots of big crumbs left for PAIR.
