VVTV and NetRadio Found this at the NAB site.... In the audio streaming market, certain Microsoft Windows 98 computers are coming pre-installed with 35 channels of "netradio." NetRadio Network, the first Internet-only radio network, has "radio" icon on these new desktop PCs (all from Packard Bell and NEC) allowing users to hot link directly to its subscription service. Net Radio's new "Net Media Player" software, developed by Ark Interface II, is based on RealNetworks web streaming technology. The bottom line is that many industries are going to have to adapt and learn to compete with many kinds of net "streaming" services which could attract consumers or audiences away from existing media or communications businesses to the new net-based services. Any news on the IPO?
