Different people read different threads. I do not repeatedly post my picks on this thread. I post them on different threads so more people are aware of them. I do back them up with the reasons why I think the stocks are good picks (i.e. I attached the PRFM PR stating that they were opening a website). I agree with you about hypsters. On some of the threads that I follow, people repeatedly post about particular stocks. It's annoying and should be discouraged, especially when they are pushing pennies.

Conngratulations on IMON. That was my most successful trade ever. I wish those types of trading opportunities occured more often.

Good Luck! :-)

I dunno.. longs do it, shorts do it.. all the same.. Ill say one thing that really caught my attention this weekend is the size of Anthony@pacific investigations thread has gotten.. Now, go to his thread and click on a few profiles and see how short hype works.. About 90% of the followers on his thread spend all day going to the threads of stocks they are shorting and start a mess of arguments with all the longs on those threads, and whats also interesting is aside from a few KTELS here and there, most of the stocks they are attacking are NOT scams, and they make every attempt to convince people they are.. Over priced? sure, but a scam? no.. They play the hype game the same way longs do.. all the same

Im not invested in PRFM.. wouldnt touch it with a ten foot rod, but after seeing what that thread is doing to the longs on that stock has me sick..

I rarely short stocks because I found out the hard way when I first started s/i that alot of these folks are professionals hypsters who swarm over a stock, attack it, destroy it to the last dime, and move on.. Alot of them belong to large firms, market makers, and deep pocketed rats.. I have names/facts to back this up but will never post it in public because these people are also very sue happy (I found this out the hard way as well). Longs are typically mom/pop/joe six pack investor who gets caught in the storm..

Welp- now I made some enemies with this post but what the hell- its a Sunday.. im bored.. An interesting way to make easy money is to bookmark the aggressive short sellers, find who they are picking on this week and follow the stock down and wait for them to cover.. I made TONS of money following shorts this way.. just doing the reverse..
