hello isoman, Seems like there's lots of bashers out their saying bad things about the Stock Detective. Just look at what happened on the GGNC thread: On January 15, I pointed out to them that Stock Detective had just initiated coverage of Wall Street Research / Superstocks which had been paid to promote GGNC:Message 7194176 Needless to say, I was straightened out about SD. Apparently they are evil people not to be trusted: For instance, "Judge" informed me that:stockdetective has a motive, just like hypsters Message 7195255 although he didn't elaborate on the motive. Fortunately "blessed" clarified the situation by posting information on SD. Many of you have probably seen this posted to other threads. I have seen it on several threads, its the one that begins:Unfounded statements made by an Internet publication named The Stock Detective have hurt many of you. On a regular basis this publication publishes its OPINION about various stocks traded on the NASDASQ BB system. A system and listing that is a place of incubation for many companies that do not have the wherewithal to be formally listed on a major exchange. Unfortunately, this system leads to abuses, both by the listed companies and by the markets themselves. Add to this the component of US regulations not permitting US brokerages to short these BB issues and Canadian brokerages the ability to do so, and you have a volatile situation. [blah, blah, blah] The complete text is here --> Message 7197020 And just in case we couldn't figure it out for ourselves, "judge" summarizes for us:Exactly.. The Stock Detective has its own agenda.. shorting.. Message 7202467 Now that that's out in the open, we find out that shorting is actually a good thing... and the more the betterI hope they short a lot. With this companies potential these shorts will help the ascent. It's like having our very own share buyback program techstocks.com Flash to January 25 - Stock Detective issues a report on GGNC in its RED LIGHT district. stockdetective.com One of the most active participants on the GGNC board responded with some anti-SD sentiment: Oh man, yeh, the Stock Detective....a GREAT PUBLICATION..I really will put all my faith in what they have to say....NNNOOOTTTT!!! Com on geezzzzz. By the way, what do you think of the updated info I posted a couple of posts back....I think it clarifys a lot and says a lot as to the future potential of GGNC and its agreement with the Asian Company....its really great news....and I think investors will eventually recognize the potential. Message 7576877 A new SI member responded with: I agree With Stock detectives notes!!!! I still bought more, why? because the stock detective is as aboutas vague GGNC news releases. So what if they offer audited sales numbers, then that point is gone, what if they use the same approach to internet marketing as Amazon, what is sales are climbing in Jan over Dec as they say they are, Chris Sargent at GGNC said they will offer audited numbers on sales and quarterly profits, and work to get on NSDQ exchange, once this is announce the stock is 13.00 and I missed out waiting for Stock Detective to say ok every thing is ok. Message 7577980 Another correspondent: I am going to hold my shares. I think this stock has alot of potential . Just look at what WKWG is doing , it was on the stock detective in November. Another correspondent: The Stock Detective, like many potential investors, will be doubtful until GGNC starts filing its financials. My 'bet' is that GGNC has been on the level. Once again I do NOT believe them to be crazy enough to release monthly numbers via the press(Dec > $5Million gross revenue)that are lies. I would be the first to litigate against them. Message 7579061 Man there has to be a nomination in there some where with all this "Good news is good news and bad news, well... that's good news too!!" kind of thinking. Regards, John Sladek
