Hi Carl,..Re:. Inflation keeps moving that goal post further out. Inflation in the seventies and eighties certainly made it difficult to gain ground especially with salary stagnation. At 1/30/98, Dell price was about $25 (split-adjusted), at 1/29/99, Dell at $100, up 300% a year! If Dell keep going up as last year, and assume you have one mil now, you will be a filthy rich man with 100 mil in about 4 YEARS AND ONE MONTH!! I can't imaging that...Dell can make you really rich.
