All,

These recent articles slamming daytrading ect. just trip me out! What do they think market makers are? They are daytraders that use their companies inventory to make a profit. There is one difference though. They have the monopoly. They know all the inside information, all the spreads, and they see all the big moves coming. They are just screaming because of ECNs. The MM are trying to protect their turf but the ECNs are the wave of the future. E*Trade is going to start routing orders to Archipeligo and so on. I am not a daytrader but my hat is off to ALL the daytraders out there pioneering for the rest of us. Study and educate yourselves about trading and you WILL make money and be successful!

Just a country boy...
Chris

<<Speaking of risk, I consider holding a stock three hours or less..much less risky than holding anything overnight.>>

Amen.

Overnite holds = chance for all kinds of media sentiment manipulation and analyst manipulation.
