Absolutely- when I was in college I never took an exam without my dad's St. Christopher medal which he wore through WWII - it got him through that so I figured it would get me through my tests. Totally irrational, but it made me feel better. I always take it with me when I fly too. But I KNOW it is irrational. And I would never try to defend it, or condemn anyone who did not believe in the power of my St. Christopher medal. But it certainly does have power for me. Not least because I loved my father, and it is something of his.
