Could the Fed raise rates?

The bond market is skittish: biz.yahoo.com

A lot of people think this is the only responsible thing for the fed to do, after having created a stock-market bubble by cutting rates aggressively in a still-booming economy (and we only know now how booming). See for example nypostonline.com and then fiendbear.com for lots more background.

Look for air being taken out of the bubble if that happens. I think there's a fair chance; too much good news recently for the fed to sit still. Opinions?
