Agree Woody.

"A boat is a hole in the water in which you throw money."

Having a boat in Indiana was bad too-- not being able to use it 12 months out of the year always created EXPENSIVE problems.

'22 is a little too small for me. I have had (or my Dad) 18-22's and I want something bigger. 10' beam is minimum, but I can do with less to start out with.

Chris Crafts are great boats!

Woody,
Caught your note to Street about boats. Couldn't resist replying to a fellow boat owner. I have a 24'Tollycraft moored in Homer, Alaska. I too pleasure in saltwater fishing and spend most of summer fishing for salmon and halibut. All species of salmon migrate into Kachemak bay and Homer is called the capital of halibut fishing. Last summer there was a 400 pounder caught on rod and reel. Truly a monster of the deep.
We try to avoid the big ones as the smaller ones are much more suitable for the dinner table. The salmon are usually smoked, frozen and handed out to our fellow CA neighbors...If you ever come to Alaska, let me know and I'll take you fishing...
