<<Anything new here?>>

There doesn't seem to be. Not much in the way of expectations this quarter, is there? That's fine with me. I don't think Q4 Earnings are as important as before ComNet.

The CC is important of course. With a good CC, I think we will begin a slow upward trend. However, the price has to be supported by earnings and prospects, so the real upward move probably won't start quite yet, unless earnings surprise on the upside.

My Speculation only:

I think Margins will hold, revenues will rise, R&D and SG&A will be up over Q3.

I think the Interest on the debt due in Q4 will be a wash with the Interest income taken in Q3 and Q4 - or almost so.

I expect the one time gains on their investments to be offset by some kind of charge (just a feeling I have).

I think they will say Fiber Driver is doing well, and that EdgeBlaster/Guardian is improving.

I expect them to stay conservative in the CC too for 1 more quarter.

Earnings or loss? Who knows? I think we will exceed estimates, which isn't saying much.

We'll see how close I come in just over 2 weeks.

Interestingly, Feb Options expire 3 days after earnings release. Thoughts on how to play it are appreciated.

Well folks, looks like its time to come back and get interested again, still holding plenty and long. I have been averaging down over the last few weeks, figured it might get a little push up towards earnings. The latest news out looked very promising, sooner or later they have to turn the corner. I own another company (Transwitch-TXCC) that spent plenty of time at around five bucks (after being around 20) and its now around 40, patience is a virtue. Not that I have much.

MRVs time will come, I'm hoping, and of course the sooner the better. Looks to me like it's within the next two quarters. Always seemed like management stinks at PR, but they seem to know how to manage the technology, big points with me.
