I agree, although they may ponder the decision for a second or two longer. (g)

A quick note. I asked Gretchen to name our "sleuths", but it was not possible,....the paper worries about causing problems for the good guys (like hate mail, or worse).

Best, Earlie

Mike, good morning to you and HO HO HO -G- While we are on the subject of MU I think it would be interesting to post the press releases concerning the great optimism surrounding the announcement of Micron's Microstamp product several years ago and the current status of this " golly gee" product -g- Have you heard how the sales of microstamp are -VBG- and HO HO HO . LETS LOOK AT THE FORECASTING RECORD of popular analysts such as Dan Niles, Tom Kurlak, Rick Whittington et. al. . I seem to recall trade press magazines featuring stories about shortages of DRAM which might last until the year 2000. I wish that I had kept files on this stuff. If you are wrong for being bearish the press never lets you forget it but if you make a silly bullish forecast -nary a word as MB would say. Reminds me of $ 100/ bbl oil forecasts long ago before the price hit about $ 10. What a relief I thought I would have to get a moped. Tanks Earlie, Gretchen and SI slueths and tanks Micron fer too many memories . Mike
