I hope you are right. But I completely agree with Chambers. He said he prefers a boring stock that goes steadily upwards because it's better for acquiring and retaining employees. I prefer the same, because it doesn't give me ulcers and I know that Cisco will deliver. But when we reach these insane PEs, I start waiting to see it crash. I don't know. I guess it really doesn't matter, because I never sell Cisco, I just buy. But the roller coaster isn't always fun.

BTW, Cisco and Lu stock were neck and neck for a long time. Then Cisco split 3 for 2, so the price was lower for awhile. Well, we've caught up since then! Hehe. Which would you rather own?

Lindy,

In 1999, we will see good news everywhere. Asia is recovering, Japan is back on track, and Europe is still strong, LAtin America get stable. Rate /Inflation will be low
due to increase in productivity, an which is mainly contributed by these Hi Tech companies like MSFT, CSCO, INTEL, LU who own real technology. Most important, year 2000 will be an election year. So, good time just start !!! A long term
and sustainable economic expansion with low inflation and rate.
