Is Lucent the place to be? Hi, Greg. Lucent is certainly a place to be. Go back over some of the recent posts in here, and also check out the stories that have appeared in the past week in Fortune and BusinessWeek. General consensus seems to be that Lucent stands to gain a pretty nice share of the $600B+ market for telephone/internet networking gear (and software) over the next couple years. I don't see why an investment in this stock shouldn't outperform the S&P over at least the next five years. Lucent and Cisco both stand to do very well in this space. Good luck to you! Mark
