Spots It worked soon as you did what I said Easier said than done>g> O ye of little faith Was it you someone refered to as their God..... my faith in your knowledge base is infinite..... my faith in my power to execute needs TLC... I still don't have a clue what you were posting about earlier, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to know ... Very briefly..... I guessing that the config and autoexec files that I copied to A: had commands that DI put in them, since DI is the only dos appp I have. These instructions in config.sys were just not working for the floppy boot. AS soon as I deleted whatwas there and put in what you said ....everything worked. Thanks for hangin in there with me, SPots. I think Sean owns you that beer more than ever now<g>
