This is why Voodoo3 is coming, hee!
voodooextreme.com

When V3 is released, the .25 TNT will make a quest
appearance followed by the Permidia3, Savage?, and
what about Rendition.

Man... the consumer has so many choices, which one will
they choose ?

A very volatile industry as history indicated.. Boom and
Bust..

Gamers gotta love it ! I think gamers will choose 3dfx and Nvidia
at first until someone has the guts to try Permidia3, Savage, and
Rendition.

3dfx your secrecy about future products sucks. You've been talking to the same developers that your competitors talk to. You expect them to be mum because of a piece of paper? If you are wondering why the stock price is so low it isn't just because of uncertainty in the market, but the uncertainty you have created in your investors that 3dfx might be a one hit technology wonder. I've heard the arguments from the executives, and nobody seems to agree as to why you guys do this. Ballard says it's because they don't want to lose retail sales and then announces the product 3 months ahead...huh? Tony T. says it's so the competition won't know what they are planning when Ballard freely admits that the competition knows exactly what they are up to and vica-versa. Add to that the fact that insiders trade on this information well in advance of the actual news and the stock bobs up and down like a jack rabbit.

If you want to keep a secret...how about shutting your yaps about earnings before the actual announcement day. I'm starting to get a feel for an actual earnings number by counting the number of points up/down right before the release.
