go broncos and pals before i start my long weeks ahead i just have to say the internets will dominate the future and tv will be its medium . lets not count out the communications group either without them no internet would be possible and ill be looking for some cheap com co.s for us to buy maybe a nice untapped south american phone co. Im looking at first com (fclx) as a possiblre candidate to lead this group at only 3$ a share its a steal but ill find others. srcm will be the dominate tv player down the road for all internet co.s including our gnet will have to get on board and when the ball starts rollin nothin will stop it.
have fun, men enjoy the game and woman, enjoy making fun of the men watching the game. I know my fiance will be talking up a storm the hole time were watching, whats that! whos the qb? why are they going thru those big guys in the middle thats so stupid, they never get any where! and so on it go's goodnight to all my pals and ill see you soon

A Great Day For Techride Yesterday! Broncos come down from mountains and beat the squawkers under their own palm trees! 2 out of every 3 Superbowl Ads mentions DOT COM. The HalfTime looked zackly
like Techstock '99 (it WAS!) complete with car entrances and GNET BAND in zoot-suits backing up Stevie Wonder. Joans appetizers, Blue's dinner. That Mile-High Creamsicle Float, gotta try it, sounds great.
Best of all, Blue gives us core philosophy of Millionaire Techriders -
"He who has the most shares at the cheapest price wins" ...and...
"All You Have To Do Is
Buy Low (Co. with earnings), wait for a 909er or two (no matter what), and then sell, sit back and wait, and buy low...."
Brain is burning up on Blue's Challenge - "What Will The Internet Be Like In 2 Years". I wrote a bit some posts back, but just scratched the surface, you got me thinking as always. I mean, let's face it, the only reason I pay attention to mechanics and design of sites and software stuff is because I invest in Internet Stocks. You too?!
I'm having trouble seperating "What Will The Internet Be Like In 2 Years" from "What Will The Internet Stock Sector Be Like In 2 Years". And it needs to be seperated, otherwise it's putting the cart before the horse. But I will say one thing I grokked recently....All the networks (FOX, CBS, etc.) are getting their websites in line for the next wave of couch-potato no-puter-hassle Internet Users. In Other Words, The Majority. And so far, those of us on The Internet are more than content to entertain ourselves on our cyber back porches and libraries. But are we really where the Big Bucks Are? The Networks and entertainment Co.'s (VIA, VO) are getting ready to give a choice of amuse yourself or be entertained by experts, just like TV & Movies, IMHO. Anyone interested in this train of thought?! These Co.'s shares are still pretty cheap, next to nets. What got me thinking this, is upping my holdings in DIS and getting USAI recently, paying closer attention to cable and set-top box stuff with SRCM, how'd you guess?

ps. Hate to nag you, but take a look at TODY news today and the last month's chart. Major stockstuff site, planning for the biggest ever.
'Twon't be long before it's not cheap anymore IMHO (I hope). Price rise and progress has been steady. Diversified.
&
pps. The millionaire.com Portal (whaddyathink?) promises to open
tomorrow. The Millionaire Magazine is nice, request an investors packet from e-mail from there if interested & they send a free mag.
Lots of controversy over MLRE on the SI Board, where I sometimes go. I say it will open, do fine, and zoom. If not, I'm wrong again, oh well, can't be right all the time. Unlike DIS and USAI and GE - you know, not recommending as it's a bigtime spec with mysteries afoot.
But I am holding my cards because I think The Bears Are A Bluff.
Sometimes patience can become stubbornness, right? We shall see.
909 Pals,
Joan

Still stand by these areas
1) Software
2) Connectivity
3) Bandwidth
4) Content
5) Mobility
If you cover these areas, as opposed to pure plays it is equal to saying instead of owning a store in the mall.....i own the entire mall, the parking lot, the roads to the mall, most cars, as well as the gas stations!

BSS, think the beast is amonst us.....personally think we are looking at a replay of the 1st quarter of 1997. A 20% Nasdaq drop thru Feb and most of March caused by rate hike fears, then the end of March brought a .25 hike and April kicked off a 60% gain in the Nasdaq. 2000 is the first real support, 1800 is next and at 1700, I blast the beast with all I got. Don't think we will get the rate hike this time however, but the fear of one will be the reason for the mini-correction.

Bought NETA, heck even if the SEC reverses ALL the writeoffs in question, it will only reduce their eps by .04! Also, if you have some patience (6 months, maybe 9 months) look at the ravaged ERP guys...psft and sap.
Next few weeks I don't think will be easy. Hope I am wrong and hope the Naz heads to 3000, but if I were a bettin' man, I would put my chips on Nasdaq 2000 first.
