MMK.... Sorry, you can keep MN. I drove for Schwans down here for 11 years. They'd fly us up to Marshall every 2 or 3 years for a week of training. Last time was in Feb. a few years back. Left Dallas it was 62 degrees, arrived there it was 2 degrees! With a 40mph wind, the wind chill was like 28 below I think! Course, if ya wanted to have a smoke, ya had to herd 'em outside, as the buildings were smoke-free. That week wasn't over fast enough for me!

MMK,

I moved from MN to TX. So I went from the frozen tundra to the hot tropics. Went from 100 degrees below zero wind chill to 120 in the shade. While I don't miss the cold, I do miss the snow.

I read with interest you comment about putting your diploma in the closet. I have two degrees and enjoy a great sense of pride in all the years of hard work it took. My degrees gave me the opportunity to explore different careers. While you may not use your specific degree right now, it's something that no one can take away from you.
