Now there is more to Dell than mfg efficiency I understand that - marketing, etc is very important, and there is a small element of design in their product line that amzn doesnt have, but to classify Dell as a heavy manufacturer or something is a bit of a misnomer, they are a commodity parts seller mostly. JMO Michelle Michelle, I agree with your points. There is a perception differene in the mind of the public that counts alot. To many, a Dell computer is superior to a Gateway or a Campaq. However, A book is a book, a CD is a CD and a video is a video. Glenn
