As far as I know, Mercedes-Benz is a division of Daimler-Benz, the German industrial conglomerate. They make a wide selection of products. Recently, they purchased Chrysler, the U.S. car manufacturer, and I believe they now trade on NYSE. I don't know the new symbol or the symbol for the old ADRs.

I think it's highly unlikely Michael Dell will purchase this company.
