Cobalt: They are not. A right cannot violate a basic right of another as these do. The "right" to medical care is another non-right. I am not familiar with the list of rights promulgated by the United Nations. I believe that the list includes such things as the "right" to full employment, the "right" to education... FT

Blue, I'd like to continue this conversation when I am not in the midst of a firefight. It is interesting. Very quickly, it was a list promulgated in 1968-1969, as I recall. Basic human rights, e.g., personal liberty, to marry and bear children. That is the sort of thing that I consider inalienable.

Dear Blue -- I am so sorry to read that you have been sick with RA. My 5 year old granddaughter (only gc I am likely ever to have) has been attacked by a similar immunological disorder and I am horribly distressed by both of your pain and suffering. I think there should be a number one could call and say "I need help" and count on getting it. Mine is 808-988-8066 or 808-956-6683 (leave a message). Please -- call me if you ever need anything any time. There's no need's test. The offer is good anywhere in the world or just want to talk. There's no charge. No guarantees, but I'm sorta rich and have many powerful highly-obligated friends all around the world and I'd like to do anything for you very, very much. You have the right to be left alone, and I'll do that too, if you insist.
