In a former life I used to work at McDonnel Douglas in St. Louis. Read in the local paper today about how disgruntled the former CEO of McD, Stonecipher, was after the Boeing merger and subsequent decline in the price of BA stock -- said he'd recently been reviewing the financials of Boeing from the early 90's. Said the coming train wreck was there for all to see ... so why didn't he see it? Ho ho ho ho He said he lost more money in the Boeing merger than he had made in the last 40 years. Whoooops ...
