I do believe the dividend is nearly all capital gains distributions.

Obviously these will vary year to year depending upon the market in question.

Not sure, but WEBS may be required to distribute their capital gains, much like mutual funds, in order to avoid the normal double taxation that corporations incur.

There would not be a regular dividend that can be counted upon, as we all might dearly hope.

Ken,

I did get an answer by calling a phone number I found in an internet search on webs. I think the # is 800-810-webs. Anyway, the payout on EWK was an unusually large payout but I don't remember the reason.
