Idealism is built one brick at a time. It's not about building idealism as much as it's about not destroying idealism. You seem focused on destroying as much idealism as possible in order to save your King and Queen.

As I've said many times Daniel. I would be more than happy to submit to a direct democracy on important issues. Let's see how many would be supported by Democrats. Clinton may be free to carry on for another year but I would easily trade that with...

1. Term limits.
2. Balanced budget amendment.
3. Banning partial birth abortions.
4. Cutting taxes.
5. Real school choice.
6. Control of my own social security funds.

You seem to care a lot about the people's voice Daniel. Why don't Democrats care about the voices in these issues?? hmmmmm. :-)

I bet I can guess. Because deep down they really don't give a hoot about what the people think unless it supports their cause. Democratic philosophy lives and breathes that the people are to stupid to handle their own money, send their kids to a decent school, or use their money for the benefit of the nation. Now they trumpet polls after polls regarding the impeachment. However, they conveniently forget about the polls in all the other issues.

As I turn in my taxes to my accountant, I am thanking the Republican Congress for my 400 dollar per child tax credit. Which the Democrats fought tooth and nail to try and prevent.
