[Off-topic] London

Thanks for the compliments. Sorry about the slow server speed. I'll try to get them to work on that. <g>

Yes, I love London parks. Actually the park in the picture was in Surrey, somewhere near Esher (where I lived), Cobham or Weybridge. I can't remember exactly which one it was?

From 1992-1996, I worked at Brown & Root Energy Services, a subsidiary of Halliburton Company, in Aberdeen, Scotland and London, England, in various management positions including corporate strategy, business analysis and project management. Towards the end of that period, I was based in London but travelling back and forth to the Middle East and Southeast Asia on an almost constant basis. In 1995 alone, I was out of the country for 220 days.

That little girl in the photos made me give up international work. (Little girls will do that to you. <vbg>) Actually, I couldn't sustain the constant travel, maintain my marriage, and spend enough time with my little girl, so I decided to return to the states. With twenty two countries under my belt, I had pretty much satisfied my travel bug, and I've never looked back.

Small world, eh?
