agree that intc is good to come back to with some $s once split rides play out & lcos is purchased (just a hunch). had to sell something to buy into net & intc was sacrificial lamb of sorts. good point re intc valuation--not bad for market dominator (sorry judge).

t2, your wild guess on dell by 2/16. also tea or nay on split. consensus from threads i read is around $118 by 2/16.

dell consensus estimate i saw friday was $0.31 vs $0.28 for prior quarter. "whisper #" given was $0.32. evidence we've seen from intc, msft, gateway, ibm (hardware sales down but who but dell benefits?) suggest to me that dell blows away above whisper. then again maybe all this built into current price. dell stock saw a 20% increase last WEEK. your thoughts?

tech 2k, regarding selling dell options now... i would hold until the earnings on 2/16 (indeed, that's what i am doing)... intc blew out, msft blew out, gtw did ok, cpq disappointed... dell is going to blow out and split... after that, there will be some split runs... but the market is going to dip in late feb/ early mar, imho
