actually, statistically, that's probably true. I have a very well-diversified portfolio of stocks that average book value, p/e 8 and 5% dividend yield...microcaps, foreign stocks, reits, utilities, little financials. If you remove the top 100 and the internet stocks, the market looks very different. The problem is that the 1T of 401K money is in those top 100 and internet stocks. Nobody wants to admit the truth..that the 401Ks are dumping grounds for overpriced stocks.
