John W, are you serious?? Amazon finally delivered a book you ordered for a Christmas present for your wife? When did you order it? I would be writing scathing e-mails to Amazon.com if I were you. I would demand that they credit your account for the full price you paid, AND let you keep the book--at this late pre-Valentine's Day date, perhaps you should present the book as a Valentine's Day gift--and swear not to put your trust in a fly-by-night web-retailer for the gifts that really matter--and doesn't that include all gifts? Man I'm glad I bought all my Christmas presents from brick-and-mortar joints like B&N--in one afternoon, while waiting for the line to get shorter at the carwash! :-))
