There is a not-so-well known feature of SI that allows any member to post privately to any other member. One way I know to do it, is to click on the (on my screen) blue NAME in these message lists (From: or to: names), and then you will see the option to SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE.

I did not send one to TMRENT (not that there is anything wrong with that)...

I have sent SI a letter to try and have them publicize the feature a little better. What makes it more complicated, is that it is very difficult to see that you have a "private message" in your mailbox. That is usually indicated on the INBOX(>0) sign above. I have private messaged people, and then told them about it 3 months later, because the system does not make it well known that there is something to receive.

Sorry to go on....it actually is a great feature...
