I do not see what positive effect a Schwab margin increase to 70% will have on DBCC...It is obvious, however, that it is having a negative effect on Schwab...They are steadily losing market share of clients to other online brokerages...For the record, I do not like to use margin, but see no reason why unreasonable margin demands should be imposed on traders and investors who choose to do so...Brokerages that impose such unreasonable margin percentages should be avoided...or boycotted...IMO..
