Why don't you start a new borland.com thread? No offense to Rod, but this thread and the stock price suck from the first day it began.

I will be the last to defend Rod's mindless ranting but borland.com is not a different company from Inprise from a stockholder's perspective. Having a separate thread for borland.com from Inprise would be very appropriate if this were a technical discussion group but it is not. This is an investing discussion.

Discussing the company's technical products and capabilities is relevant here but let's keep the discussion to facts and constructive comments; not venting of spleens.

Rod ranted about how terrible Inprise's products are but when asked what he considered to be the best products, notice how he didn't come close to answering it. I can't take someone serious if all they can do is spout about what they feel is bad but won't say what they feel is a good product. Let's forget about Rod and his ranting.

I am curious why the group doesn't seem to have any thoughts about Inprise currently trying to hire three key marketing positions on the enterprise side. Why are these positions open now? Have they been unfilled for a long time? Did three key people just leave? Did Inprise fire the three people? It seems to me that the answer to these questions are important to the future of Inprise and its stock price.

Ignore Rod and he will go away again.
