They have digital
products, software, channel reusability software,etc.. So software is a commodity
too? So in other words,Dell,MSFT,CPQ are nothing but junk? And a 300 times
sales company who is going to spend 2 billion dollars to get somewhere is a
bargain? ATHM will be the future, but the price may still be the same as today,if the
Fed stops pumping money out like its oil from the Arabs.

No disrespect to you Hiram, but the key here is growth. ATHM long term (5yrs) growth: 187%; HLIT: 25%. And yes, some software is a commodity. Some of the software that MSFT makes is a commodity (Explorer) but the vast majority of the software that it pumps out is not. HLIT seems to pump out mostly (all?) commodity ware.

Tony Ley has said in his last 2 conference calls, that as ATHM goes,so goes HLIT.

The general direction that HLIT goes may very well be up along with ATHM, but it may not be to the same percent-wise extent. Don't take it word for word.

Hiram, the thing with this stock is, if it drops 50 points, it will always come back shortly. Not like some other stocks, they never come back.

Smart money is betting SFA will steal HLIT's thunder.
