Having entered CKFR after doing much DD (just before the summer turmoil), I got the wind knocked out of me 5 weeks later as the stock was cut in half. Came to this thread looking for some direction and found a thread filled with solid reasoning, clear thinking and much needed good natured humor. Kept buying and buying on the way down and it was in no small part due to the very clear and well reasoned analysis on this thread. Without hesitation, I would nominate this thread as one of the best on SI. It compares favorably to the AMPEX thread which I refer to as my "threadbare allocation",i.e., a beaten down stock designated for sale as its story unraveled (patent infringement suit) but which I stayed with simply because of the erudition and lucid analysis of its posters. Figure if I can get some of the thinkers on this thread to look into AXC and get their added input, and vice versa, I just might start a mutual fund billed as the best of the web. Much thanks to the many posters who have generously shared their opinions and helped keep me and I am sure many others on track! No hype intended, but as a response to Brook, both CKFR & AXC had the ingredients of stealth internet plays. Both have solid management who possess a vision and the ability to bring that vision to fruition! Again much thanks to the many contributors to this thread!
