Hello All,

Such disparaging remarks about one of the real class guy's in the TA field -- John Murphy.

I now have a book shelf full of TA related readings. If, God forbid, there's a fire - and I can only take one arm load of TA books, it's all my P&F books and Pring and Murphy.

I find Murphy to be the perfect fit with P&F. Intermarket, sectors, industries, mutual fund trading - it all fits so very nicely with P&F. He always boils everything down to the very basic, and keeps it simple.

His book Intermarket Technical Analysis opened a whole new world for me. You get an overview of it, and a lot more, in The Visual Investor.

I always recommend to any P&F newbie the standard P&F books and also Murphy's The Visual Investor,. It's a terrific way to get a bit of conventional TA to go along with P&F.

Take care,

Eric
