Sydney--Feb 1--Australian diversified miner Savage Resources said today it produced 23,980 tonnes of zinc metal in the Oct-Dec quarter at its Clarksville refinery in Tennessee, down 11.4% from a year earlier due to reduced performance at the roaster. In Oct-Dec, the company also produced 3,992 tonnes of zinc concentrate at the Gordonsville mine in Tennessee, down 77.6% from a year before, because of a prolonged strike by union workers which began Aug 3.
