I know your post wasn't to me, but I would like to respond. At the present time, the difference between eBay and Yahoo auctions is like the difference between a Mall and a little country store. Items on eBay get considerably more exposure and command better/higher bids for the seller. For the buyer, eBay has so many more items; I always find what I'm looking for on eBay and rarely find much of anything to bid on at Yahoo.

All you have to do to check this out yourself is pick any item you might wish to purchase or bid on and look it up on both eBay and Yahoo. Take the test and decide for yourself.

This has nothing to do with the stock prices of these two companies; just the quality of their auctions.

Jim

I have nothing against Yahoo, they have one of the best finance sites, but not for auctions. In the antique business, every auction you go to everyone talks about eBay and loves it. Our business has boomed because of it and we are making more money with this format than we have ever made before. We also want the best exposure and eBay gives us that.
