atl should have run straight, jamal is a physical back that should be able to push the line back for a yard.

It actually wasn't a sweep, it was over left tackle. However, Romanowski & Co. blew the play up, so Anderson tried to bounce outside.

We've had the attitude all year that we are a dominant running team, even though we really aren't. We ran on 1st down 67% of the time, the most in the NFL. The Broncos made us pay for this attitude, stopping us in every short yardage situation. The Vikings weren't good enough to make us pay for this flawed philosophy.

Minutia: the 3 missed FGs by Elam and Andersen were a result of the NFL inexplicably using brand new balls for the game, instead of the usual pre-scuffed balls.
