You are correct on the first point and incorrect on the second.<<

Being able to swap spreadsheets across thousands of computers in your organization is a significant reason to standardize your spreadsheet software. No such advantage exists for lasers.

Furthermore, shortages of MS Office are extremely unlikely. Shortages of any piece of semi capital equipment are extremely likely. When shortages are likely, it is extremely beneficial to have a second source.

If you still disagree, please clarify your opinion.
