To B.A. from Jill N.

I'm not an investment journalist but what we can do is this: email me privately via SI and list the posts you think I should look at. Then we can put together a streamlined roadshow for Lisa at AXC. Their publicist should pitch the canary in the mine story everywhere; in fact, to make it kosher, she should mention a few other message boards and stocks, maybe the big ones as well as ones like this (go over to the Dell message board in the last few days, everybody is giddy.). It has to be cleverly done or it looks like a naked plea for pumping a stock. If there's anybody on the board here or at SI at all who made a killing via message board info (or lost their pants), we should know now and they should be willing to talk. If momentum is the key here then the online financial portals and interactive WSJ, as well as newspapers, etc are the way to go as magazines have a lead time of many months.

Its true a well placed story is everything, at least temporarily. Think of Gina Kolata's front page story in the Times last year on research on cancer treatment in mice, the stock of the company went up about a zillion times in one day and cancer patients around the world wanted the drug and it was simply a mouse study.
