Sure Clark, outright sand is not much fun to do anything with, especially if the water table is above the bottom of the hole. But there aren't THAT many places where that's a problem. ElMatador was saying WLL universally and especially in Asia was no good because of foundation costs. Some places that would be true. Most places it would not.

It's a wild generalization from a few specific cases of a problem.

Qualcomm seems to be happy that WLL is going to be VERY big time. I haven't costed WLL myself, but I trust Q! have got their arithmetic right.
