Don't replace 'em, Carl R. Get new surrounds! (O-T)

Maybe one of our "pros" can direct you to a particular shop, but it's done all the time. Don't know if you need new cones or just surrounds, but either way, they should be quite fixable. Many foam or butyl surrounds tended to disintegrate over time. Stupid materials science, common result.

Even if you buy new gear, they're worth restoring. Nice product.

If nobody posts, suggest you pick up a copy of "Audio" and look at the classifieds. You'll find somebody there (if not on the Net). If you have trouble, let me know.

BAM

**WAY Off topic *****

I also enjoy the way the board is becoming a companion piece to the "Playboy Advisor".
I'm learning a lot about speakers.

Here's my question:
I served an after dinner wine at our party last week, and was taken to task for serving it directly from the refrigerator. What temperature should the wine be in order for me to make the best impression on my house guests? Is it different for a white versus a red? Thanks.....Al
