Bob, I probably shouldn't look under this rock, but I am morbidly curious,

1. Did you go to college?

2. If so, did you graduate?

3. If so, what is(are) your degree(s) in?

4. Do you ever read magazines like Nature, Natural History, Scientific American, National Geographic, Discover, Smithsonian, Science, Science News? If so, which ones, and how frequently.

5. Do you ever go to natural history museums?

6. Don't suppose you read any scholarly journals in the anthropology/archeology field?

7. What are your sources for such statements as the one above?

Bob,

I know of a tribe on the island of Palawan, called the Tau't Bato (people of the rocks), who still live in the same caves they've lived in since they crossed the land bridge from what is now Borneo.

I'd be curious to hear where you read that carbon-dating and other methods used to determine ages of artifacts are inaccurate. Was it a reliable scientific source, or a source with an ideological axe to grind? Please cite.

Steve

<<there never were people living in caves>>

There are many people living in caves today. In China, Shaanxi, above the river, people living in caves as they have for centuries.
In Leeward Oahu, dozens of veterans and poor people, many crazed, a few dangerous.
In Na Pali coast Kauai, dozens maybe more living in the rocks and lava tubes left by ancient volcanoes.
On the Big Island -- people living in thousand foot long volcanic tubes.
In Queens and Bronx New York -- people camping in abandoned cliff dwellings
London, Moscow, poor people camping out in abandoned public housing caves
Chicago -- people running from their caves in terrifying slums before they blow up.

What about the cavedwellers in Ruby cave, in Mammoth cave, in Dordogne and the middle east -- where the manuscripts were hidden, in Greek Orthodox cloisters in the Magnentia. --

People not live in caves -- why gloriosky Bob, what are caves for? And surely you of all forgot that Jesus lived in a cave for three days -- at least -- or so you do believe.

Bob (caveman) Sturgeon,

Of course they lived in caves. They were afraid of being eaten by dinosaurs!

LOLOL

Back to your cave, Bob! (As the Mighty Galt always liked to say.)
