>They do conduct themselves as if they are superior. <
You mean they act like they have all the answers? How annoying.

I don't like your use of the word "they". Do you mean all orthodox Jews? I babysat for orthodox Jews in college, and the couples I sat for were lovely people. I also thought they placed considerable trust in me, being a gentile, to keep their dietary laws for their kids- as they all had the separate meat and milk dishes. They were just people Bob, people with an interesting belief that strains my credulity, but people none the less. And many of "them" are very nice and do not act a bit superior. In fact, I'll bet many of them are much less annoying than you.

Bob, I did not draw a general conclusion about orthodox Jews from my experience with that one man. Our friend who was Jewish, but not orthodox, told me that the man did not want to socialize with people who were not Jewish. That was a fact. I think that he was a bigot.

I have known people who did not want to associate with me because I was white. I think they are bigots, too.

Bigotry is not confined to one group of people.

Bob;

I meant that in reference to CobaltBlue's experience when they met the Orthodox Jew.

Maybe you should read your post again.. You did lump Jews together with your words.

They still think of themselves as God's chosen people.
But the old jews who reject Jesus cling to the old and still think of themselves as the chosen people. And they can act like it too. <gg>

In your opinion though, do you think he could also have had some dislike for woman as CobaltBlue suggested? Especially Gentile woman? Just curious.

Why do you wish my opinion of what the thought process is concerning Gentile women. According to Rabbinical law I am married to one....
