I think that there is a lot of growth left. Not all dealers have access to a computer yet but they are very eager to get set up. Also, I have noted that a lot of my most recent buyers are first time users.

If there would be software to access all auction sites that would be great and many buyers would use that. But don't forget that once people start using a site (eBay) and become accustomed to that it and are set up to sell or buy there they will stick to it. We are all lazy in nature and like what is familiar and won't change.

I agree that it can become a pain with the server error messages but I don't experience that hardly at all anymore, not like it was about a year ago. Only the seller pays a fee to eBay, the buyer only pays what the seller charges.
