Zbyslaw --

TheAT&T-Time Warner news is significant for CMTO, also. Not only is TCI their biggest customer but I've been told Time Warner is interested in their DOCSIS products.

Good news for NN, as well.

Anyone : Currently the Cable Owners do not have to open their Cable lines to other rivals in the manner the Telephone Carriers had to. AT&T recent take over of TCI &Time Warner etc is based on the fact that this will give them a monopoly. It is my understanding that AOL is quite unhappy about this and has moved Congress to open up the Cable Nets to competition.

My questions are as follows:

a:Is there going to be an explosion in Cable Modem usage.?

b:Is Congress going to allow another monopoly to be created.

c:Can the RBOC's and Baby Bells fight back on Copper or must they merge with other Cable Companies to survive.

d: What is the relative unit first and running cost between Cable and DSL.

Thanks.
