I bought calls on NKE early last week to hedge my short position because of a rumored internet site... sure enough they announced one. Do people have no shame? selling shoes on the internet? who cares. people aren't even buying them in the stores! staying short and unhedged on G.

gold crashing up today. :)

I think we have to see some backpedalling by Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Dell to get the ball rolling. If everyone sees that Nasdaq flashing some red on CNBC for a few days, they may want to nail down some profits. With the A/D line the way it's been, it won't take much weakness from the biggies to knock it down.

CSCO could get it going along with the Fed tomorrow, and Dell would have to report a whale of a number to support this house of cards, because after Dell announces, there's nothing ahead but earnings preannouncements and economic data. We are in utopia now, how much better can it get?
