Positive.
We need all the media coverage we can get even if it contains a debate about the scans usefulness for screening those without symptoms.
The only possible valid argument is that more study is needed.
but it is an indisputable fact that a low score is great news for the individual.
If a woman has a negative mammogram is she going to start smoking or stop going to the doctor. So that one doctor they keep quoting, appears to make a foolish arguement.
Since lowering my LDLs significantly on Lipitor, I have not changed my good health habits (exercise, healthy eating). I care how I look and feel too much.

I worked in the field some 15 years ago( cardiac research).....this conversation has not changed in 15 years.....put your investment dollars somewhere else....the fda will not approve this device because there are others that will do the same thing-- only cost less......fda does not want to spend todays dollar on "?" projects......I can't believe I found this thread after all this time and you are still talking about the same issues...those physicians on the board will not approve this expensive test.....good luck, Rich
